  • I’m Avery Savage, an acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner deeply committed to the transformative power of traditional healing. I work with people of all genders to address pelvic health, including fertility, menstrual health, pregnancy, menopause, hormonal imbalances, and pelvic pain. Acupuncture is a powerful tool for balancing hormones, reducing inflammation, and improving circulation, promoting optimal health and well-being.

My journey into acupuncture began with skepticism, but after experiencing its profound effects firsthand, I was inspired to become an acupuncturist myself. I’m passionate about introducing others to acupuncture and herbal medicine, answering questions, and providing care tailored to each individual.

Both programs have provided me with a strong foundation in acupuncture and herbal medicine, and I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education, ensuring I bring the best care possible to my patients.

Melanie Marr

Yoga Instructor

  • Mel started to practice yoga in 2008. Yoga was her preferred way to sweat when she wasn’t training with her field hockey team in University. Early in her yoga adventures she completed the Baptiste Journey Into Power Level One Training. A few years later she enrolled in her first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program in Banff, Alberta, instructed by Erin Evans.

Mel’s adventure as a yoga teacher has included Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga, Yoga for Kids, Vinyasa and Hips and Hams classes. Mel’s personal practice shifted to a restorative sequence in 2020, and was very inspired by a Spa Yoga workshop she attended by Carolyn Anne Budgell.

Today Mel enjoys teaching what she practices, slower flows that connect you closer to your breath, with both strength and rest components. Every class is a new adventure.
